The LeMieux Merino+ Suede Classic Close Contact Square is shaped for forward-cut jumping saddles. A high wither, elasticated D-ring tabs and swept-back profile help it sit comfortably beneath the saddle.

Merino+ front and rear rolls combine natural Merino wool with technical fibres, adding support and stability without the bulk of a separate half pad. The uncompressed Merino+ measures approximately 18–20mm thick.

A durable suede-effect upper complements a soft bamboo-blend lining that draws away sweat and helps regulate heat. Smooth suede-effect binding follows the pad’s contours, while textured PU leather protects the girth area. Inner girth-strap channels help keep the fit secure.

Care instructions

• Brush off hair, dirt and dried sweat before washing.
• Hand wash or machine wash at 30°C on a cool wool cycle, preferably in a wash bag with LeMieux Wool Wash.
• Fasten hook-and-loop closures and reshape after washing.
• Air dry away from heat. Do not tumble dry or use strong fabric conditioner.

Size guide

• Small/Medium: horses 13hh–14.2hh; saddles up to 16 inches.
• Large: horses 14.3hh and over; saddles 16.5 inches and over.
